Learn Dutch that fits your life.

Welcoming. Supportive. Authentic.

Learning Dutch with us means more than just lessons.

For over 9 years, we’ve created a warm space where connection and belonging matter just as much as language.

Our classes are informal, filled with humor and spontaneity, guided by core values like safety, openness, and flexibility.

We help students feel confident, welcome, and connected, to each other, our teachers, and to Dutch life.

Who we are

Marios Selevistas, the owner and one of our Dutch teachers

Hi, I’m Marios Selevistas, founder & Dutch teacher.

I’m originally from Greece, but I’ve been calling the Netherlands home for the past 18 years.

Languages have always been a big passion of mine, so learning Dutch was something I couldn’t resist.

That passion grew into something more, and I ended up studying Dutch linguistics and earning my NT2 teaching qualification along the way.

I now teach Dutch at all levels, with a special focus on helping highly educated professionals who want to use the language with confidence at work or in everyday life.

I love bringing energy and fun into my lessons, using exercises that are not only effective but also connected to Dutch culture and real-life situations.

After all, the best way to learn a language is actually to use it in daily life, right?

Besides Dutch, I also speak Greek and English, and I’m currently working on my degree in Italian, so I truly understand how challenging learning a new language can be, especially when you have a full-time job and a busy schedule.

“That’s exactly why I aim to keep my lessons practical, supportive, and enjoyable.”

Dirk Schaap

Dutch teacher

I began teaching Dutch as a volunteer, and quickly discovered how much energy and fulfillment it brings me. Sharing my native language allows me to showcase all that the Netherlands has to offer; not just linguistically, but culturally and socially as well.

At our language school, we believe that learning a new language is more than just putting words together. It’s about connecting with people, exploring traditions, and understanding a new way of life.

I primarily teach conversation classes for advanced students, but I also enjoy working with beginners from time to time It gives me the chance to brush up on my Greek or English too!

Aron Groen, one of our Dutch teachers

Aron Groen

Dutch teacher

Hi! I’m Aron, a Dutch teacher and Psychology tutor at the University of Amsterdam. I love helping expats feel at home by improving their Dutch, quickly and enjoyably.

I grew up vacationing in Alpine countries with my parents, and because I connected those places and their languages with joy and freedom, I developed a love for language learning early on.

My lessons combine clear structure with a warm, often humorous atmosphere. With over 900 students taught and consistently strong feedback, teaching and learning languages still gives me that same vacation feeling, energizing and connecting.

Vicky Angailaina

Dutch teacher

As a certified Dutch and German language teacher with over 20 years of experience, I have had the privilege of guiding many students on their language-learning journey. While I specialize in one-on-one lessons, I also greatly enjoy working with groups from time to time.

Throughout the years, I’ve learned that teaching a foreign language is most effective when it is tailored to the unique goals and needs of each individual. When personalized guidance is combined with a clear and structured approach, learning becomes not only enjoyable, but also deeply rewarding for the student.

There is no greater joy than witnessing the moment a learner begins to use the Dutch language independently, it's a feeling that is truly beyond words. That is why I continue to teach Dutch with heart and dedication, committed to sharing this beautiful language with as many people as possible.
