Exploring Leiden
December 1, 2024

We don’t have enough words to express how grateful we are for all the students who have joined our Dutch classes over the years. Thanks to them, we’ve been able to organize our lovely annual trips that bring our community closer together.
This year, our visit took place in the historic city of Leiden. We had the chance to explore the inside of a traditional windmill, learning about its history and role in Dutch culture. Next, we walked through the birthplace of the famous painter Rembrandt, enjoying the beautiful streets and rich history of the city.
We admired the grand architecture of the Church of Saint Peter, a true landmark with its impressive design and peaceful atmosphere. Later, we climbed the steps of Leiden’s fortress, where we took in panoramic views and reflected on our shared journey, both in language learning and community building.
These trips are more than just outings. They are opportunities to connect, practice Dutch in real situations, and create memories beyond the classroom.
We wish everyone a wonderful month and happy holidays, and we look forward to our next adventure together.
